Short Courses (or Part Time Courses)

Ideal for local students who must fit classes into their busy schedules, our Part-Time Courses offer language instruction that is quick, effective and convenient. Our Part-Time Courses are any course with less than 18 hours per week of class time.

Generally, each course includes 40-50 hours of class time over a 5-6 week period. You can choose to attend class every weekday for two hours, or for four hours on either Saturday or Sunday.

ESL Courses: Part Time Course Times and Tuition

Below is a general schedule for our Part Time Courses (also known as Short Courses). Please note the times and costs may vary for different locations, and are subject to change without notice. Part time courses require a one-time $35 registration fee, ($95 registration fee for Semi-Intensive courses at Midtown), valid for one year. Call or e-mail us for details about the times, locations, and levels of specific class offerings. Note that there is a $50 supplemental fee required for the five week advanced iBT TOEFL preparation course. The iBT TOEFL preparation course is offered at NYLC-Midtown from 2:30 to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, starting every 5 weeks.

MIDTOWN, Manhattan

Semi-Intensive: 3 hours per day, five weeks per session, Monday thru Friday.

Registration fee $95.00. Educational Resources Fee $75.00. Tuition cost $775.00.

· 2:30 – 5:30 pm (TOEFL Preparation)

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan/JACKSON HEIGHTS QUEENS/BRONX

Part-time: 2 hours per day, eight weeks per session, Monday thru Friday.

Registration fee $35.00. Tuition cost morning/afternoon: $345. Evening: $281 (materials included).

· 12:00 – 2:00 pm

· 4:00 – 6:00 pm ( Monday thru Thursday, 8 weeks per session)

· 8:00 – 10:00 pm ( Monday thru Thursday, 8 weeks per session)
