Private Courses at New York Language Center (one student/one instructor)

If you have a specific goal in mind regarding your language-learning, or are preparing for a special test or interview, you should consider private classes. Our instructors will prepare a class that focuses on what you need and will target your weaknesses. Private classes can include excursions outside of the school if the student desires. Private classes are best when taken for at least two hours at a time. Textbooks are given for purchases over 5 hours.

2 hours per day/5 days a week- cost per week: $480

3 hours per day/5 days a week-cost per week $675

Separate hours- based on instructor availability. Must be purchased in blocks of 5 hours -$250

Purchase more than 20 hours: cost per hour is $42.

Private classes are available in Midtown Manhattan after 12 noon or before 10 am.

Private classes are available in other locations after 12 noon and before 10 am.

Registration fee: $35, non refundable after 3 days. An academic hour is 50 minutes. Tuition is refunded if cancelled at least 2 weeks in advance. Cancellations in less than 2 weeks but before instruction has begun will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. After instruction has begun, refunds are prorated back to the rate of $50 per hour. Once the student has completed more than 50% of the week , there is no refund. A 24 hour notice is required for cancellations. If no notice is given, student will be charged for the day.( No refunds /make ups.) Instructor subject to change.
